The Space:

The Gilpin Farmhouse is a delightful three-bedroom holiday home located in the heart of the Lake District. Ridgestone is pleased to host you at this lovely self-catering property which offers three spacious bedrooms, each fitted with a king-sized bed to ensure a restful night's sleep for all guests. The shared family bathroom is conveniently located on the first floor and features a bath with a shower attachment.



The modern and spacious kitchen is a focal point of the house, fully equipped with all the essentials you need to prepare meals. Gather around the dining table by the log burner for cosy evenings during cooler nights in the Lakes. Essential appliances like an electric kettle, toaster, microwave, and fridge freezer are at your disposal. The kitchen also has casual seating for four, with a more formal dining area for six guests located at the bottom of the main stairs.



The living room is a perfect spot to unwind, boasting a warm and inviting ambiance with a wall-mounted smart TV for all your entertainment needs.



Guest Access:

Ridgestone's guests have access to the entire house and the outdoor hot tub.



Check-in is self-check in via pre-shared instructions and lockbox code that will be issued on the day of arrival.



If you do plan to travel with your pets, we kindly request that furry friends are always supervised and not left unattended.

Gilpin Farmhouse is quietly positioned on the outskirts of Levens, nestled in the picturesque South Lakeland district of Cumbria. This cosy property serves as an ideal getaway, offering a tranquil setting just a short drive from the scenic Lake District National Park. Guests can savour a meal at the historic Gilpin Bridge Inn nearby or take a leisurely stroll through the famous Levens Hall and Gardens. The farmhouse offers the perfect mix of rural charm and easy access to the amenities and attractions of the surrounding area, including the vibrant town of Kendal.

Please be aware that the hot tub is legally only allowed for 16+ years of age and should not be used after 11 PM.

Late check-out is available for a cost of £30, which is to be left in an honesty box found at the property.
