Ocean Shores is a wonderful little “mom and pop” motel. The property is very clean and well kept. Rooms are very basic but beds are comfortable. The view is amazing!!!!

Vicki at reception was so helpful. She upgraded our room at no charge. We even enjoyed the local bunny population! Super comfortable beds and crisp sheets. Loved having lots of space in the room! Great view from the room and even a path down to the beach. Best room of our entire 2 week stay.

What a fabulous place! Overlooking the ocean, with private path to the beach directly in front of the first tier of rooms. The rooms are basic but super clean, with coffee maker and big windows looking across the bay to beautiful mountains of Kenai Peninsula. Manager super helpful as to area tips, restaurants etc and Ocean Shores very close to great coffee shops, hikes and more. We stayed four days, loved every minute. And worth noting that in terms of price Ocean Shores the best bargain of our two weeks in Alaska. Highly recommended!

The room was clean but outdated. We did have a great view of the ocean. The trail down to the ocean was steep and narrow. We were worried we might fall going down so did not use. That was one reason we booked it because it was on the ocean and we like walking on the beach.
