Guests have exclusive use of the entire cottage throughout their stay.



There is ample private parking on site for multiple vehicles.



Full access instructions, including secure entry details, are provided prior to arrival to ensure a smooth and stress-free check-in.



The Neighborhood:

Cross Keys House sits on Main Street in the charming village of Kirk Yetholm, one of the most picturesque corners of the Scottish Borders. Known as the traditional finishing point of the iconic Pennine Way, the village has long welcomed walkers completing the 268 mile trail through England’s finest upland scenery.



Kirk Yetholm lies alongside its sister village, Town Yetholm, connected by a gentle walk across the Bowmont Water. The surrounding landscape is defined by rolling Cheviot Hills, quiet country lanes and wide open skies, making it a haven for walking, cycling, wildlife spotting and photography.



Just eight miles away is the historic market town of Kelso, home to cobbled streets, independent shops, cosy cafés and traditional pubs. Visitors can explore Kelso Abbey, enjoy a day at Floors Castle, or attend race days at Kelso Racecourse.

→ 30-minute drive to Jedburgh and its historic abbey

→ 40-minute drive to Berwick-upon-Tweed for coastal walks and mainline train connections

→ 1-hour drive to Edinburgh for a full day of sightseeing, shopping and festivals



Public transport is limited in the village itself, so a car is recommended for flexibility. Taxis can be arranged from Kelso, and Berwick-upon-Tweed station offers direct rail links to Edinburgh, Newcastle and London.

Choose between a fully refundable £350 security deposit or a £25/night non-refundable damage waiver (capped at £110).



All steps are completed securely online prior to arrival.

Smoking/Vaping: Strictly no smoking indoors. A £1000 charge applies if evidence is found.

Parties: This property is not suitable for parties. Breaches will result in immediate removal with no refund.

Contractors: This property is designed for peaceful holiday use only and is not suitable for work crews or contractor stays.
