The “Katoi” house is a traditional home typical of early 20th-century rural architecture in Kefalonia. Located in a tiny, quiet village on the northern side of the island, the house is ideal for those who want to stay away from the island’s tourist crowds while remaining just a 15-minute drive from the lively neighborhoods of the ports of Fiscardo and Assos. In the evening, the village offers a sky full of stars accompanied by the sounds of nature, while in the afternoon, a spectacular sunset can be seen from various spots throughout the village. The beaches in the north of the island, including the famous Myrtos, are a 15-minute drive away, and the nearest supermarkets and taverns are just a 5-minute drive away.<br>The house has 3 bedrooms, an office, and a living room with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a half-bath on the same floor. A small staircase in the living room leads down to the “katoi,” which opens onto the garden and has a bathroom and toilet right next to it, while there is also a second (outdoor) shower in the garden.
