Reception and Restaurant staff very professional, courteous and friendly. Restaurant food reasonably priced and of decent quality. Room was very dark, gloomy and I felt rather depressing. The building was 2 story and we were on the ground floor. Opening the curtains left no privacy from the car park, so difficult to enjoy the view or daylight. Unfortunately, I wish I’d paid more and stayed across the road again.

When i checked in i was informed the WiFi wasnt working meaning i couldnt finish my work for the day. The room we stayed in was a lower unit and had patched water damage near the tub. For the price paid it was not what we expected. The plus was the pool was heated and very nice. If only staying for a night its OK but way overpriced.

No microwave or refrigerator. Pool was great, very dated, needs a big upgrade. Restaurant was horrible blond waitress new,ordered nachos with beef, order came without beef. 20 minutes later it was corrected by dumping hot chili over our previous order if nachos, a horrible dinner with no offer of recourse or dispensation.

Wallpaper peeling in bathroom. very old and dated furniture, not at all like pictures. We were in the annex and it needs maintenance in the rooms, windows dirty. no toiletries, no hair dryer. NO WIFI. When we checked in they said the wifi was down temporarily. On further questioning the desk clerk said ir had not worked in several months. Breakfast is not included. Night clerk at check out was very nice and friendly and knew what she was doing. Although our reservation was for two nights, our keys did not work the second day so we hard to go to the desk which was not easily accessed from the annex parking.

Kayenta Monument Valley Inn was a lovely rest stop after touring Monument Valley. The room was clean and had lovely decor. The restaurant was great. Nice selections on the menu. I highly recommend.

So So in Kayenta

check in process: dont move any luggage, you will have to drive to a different building for your room. Restaurant adds the tip to your dinner bill automatically.

Convenient to attractions. Was disappointed there was no WiFi given cell phone coverage is spotty in area. Most travelers likely need a fridge to store food as they travel across wide swathes of sparsely populated areas. No breakfast and restaurant was closed by 10am when we wanted to eat. Cost same as similar inn down the road but who had WiFi, fridge and breakfast included. Wyndham do better!
