Beautiful location adjacent to Lydgate park with a sheltered swimming area and fabulous play structures for 2-10 year olds Comfortable Large space with the separate bedroom. Coffee maker small fridge and sink ok but no other kitchen amenities Did have small ants (1/8”) throughout the kitchen and some in bathroom Had to request some basic room stuff like extra coffee or towels where they had not come in until day 3

To expensive for such basic room,The hotel appeared new fron the outside . There were hidden charges like hotel usage fees and parking fee.That was very unfair because was they didn"t mention those charges when we made the reservation.

This rating is for the employee Curt. He was truly amazing. So kind to our little one. Gave him a stuffed animal. Let him feed the fish. Helped us with our bags and helped us change rooms. Best hotel employee ever. Give him a raise! Hotel itself is just all right. Pools were unimpressive. And a little bit cold. Restaurants are just OK. Breakfast at the Garden Grill was pretty good. Great proximity to the beach and a great playground for my son. Overall pretty good hotel for the value made extra special by their employee Curt.

Had to move to another room after the first night because the rain storm caused dripping of water in our room and wet the carpet. We got to our new room, actually a cottage, and the main TV in the living room wasn’t working. Then my wife was sitting on the sofa and got covered with ants. Any food we left on the counter was covered with ants. Not pleasant.

I paid extra for an ocean view room. I was given a room with a tree right in front of the window. The hotel refused to give me a different room or refund the money I paid for an ocean view room. The room should have been sold as a “partial ocean view.”
