Bathroom did not appear to be cleaned before we checked in...sink mainly, lots of dust on light fixture. Ceiling fan in room was a plus! Need a larger garbage-recyling bin. They could also put up a mirror behind the hotel room door. This would provide an extra space for people to get ready as the bathroom in our room was small. Verandah was gorgeous, had a porch swing. The back area of the Inn was magical.

I booked for my son and bride for their honeymoon night. Notifed the hotel. I requested an hour early checkin. They would not allow despite no one staying at the hotel. According to my booking thru Expedia, I was allowed early checkin. They also did not receive breakfast. Per the hotel, the had an event the precluded them from serving breakfast to their only guests. The email they sent day of checkin didn't indicate no breakfast. They said we got a special rate. This is not true. Same rate on other dates. If you are wanting to go somewhere for a special event, this is not your place. They could care less.

There was not parking space, nor was there room for my car to turn and exit the parking lot. I ended up grazing my rear fender on the sharp rock wall, and will have to have the paint repaired. Not a good experience.

We were very disappointed that there was no continental breakfast available during our stay. Also, parking is very tight on property. We would not have felt safe parking on the street or in the neighborhood. I previously stayed here when it was a B&B. Pretty disappointed in the change.

Had I known the temperature in the rooms were not individually controlled I would not have booked this property. It was warm the afternoon we checked in and the window in the bathroom was open. That should have been our first clue. When I called service they told us that there are only two thermostats for the entire building and for our "convenience" there was a fan in the closet. The room was warm and the fan, along side with the noise from outside, made it an uncomfortable nights sleep. The next evening they turned the AC on so it was better. In addition, we had early plans and had intended on grabbing something from the continental breakfast which was supposed to be put out at 7:00 am, at 7:15 no breakfast was available so we went on with our day.
