We were in town for one night just to enjoy the wineries and bar scene and this place was a perfect fit for my husband and I. The location was great and the room was clean. The off-site parking created a bit of a challenge but nothing that would keep me from booking here again!
Excellent place to stay in downtown . The hotel is historic a rich past. Don't expect that "new hotel" look & feel, the building is gracefully aged and helps one step back in time! Very good for the money.
The Hotel was awesome. Love the historic look and feel of the whole building and town. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, sheets and blankets were soft, and hot water lasted. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to book here again. đ

Liked: Staff & service
This old, quaint hotel was everything it should be for the price we paid. Few amenities, just a comfortable room with a nice little lounge/bar to enjoy the evening. We'll stay again.
Really great staff, from the front desk to the bar employees. All really accommodating and friendly. The place is older of course but has a lot of character and charm. Our room was exceptionally clean. Comfortable. Close to all the places you want to see. Would stay again.
Staff was so helpful. Came up to the room when we had trouble with the tv. Location was absolutely perfect for walking to everything. We booked the âbudget queenâ room. It was small but adequate. The bed was comfy and it looked like the room had been recently renovated. There was even a coffee maker in the room. A great deal for the low price!! We will definitely stay here again.
A note to travelersâŚ.most things close up early (4 pm) on Sunday and we couldnât even find a coffee shop open on Monday morning!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The room smelled horrible: it had a very strong musty, vinegar smell and gave me a headache.
Everything was very clean some of the furniture was a little worn but it is a Historic Hotel it was not a problem. The bed was very nice bedding was clean and soft many pillows plenty of towels and linens amenities were excellent including bathroom supplies there was coffee maker and refrigerator. We had the luxury Suite which had a Corner Room View and was super spacious at a very reasonable price. We actually booked again for the candlelight Christmas tour in December. Not having anyone on staff was kind of unusual though it was a Monday. To check in check out or any other needs you had to phone a number posted. It was okay except when we checked out we ended up getting a main switchboard that handled restaurants and hotels. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. Location could not be better for walking shopping eating bars.
