The outside seemed nice. We arrived and there was construction going on inside (not listed on website). Got to our room and there was a big dog barking continuously across hall. Second room smelled very badly (rotten egg smell). Third room smelled weird as well. The pool was advertised as indoor/outdoor. It was outdoor with an awning over 1/4 of it. The elevators were sketchy too. I'm not usually one to complain but wow, it was a terrible experience.

Pictures of the property indicated that it was a Green Mill connected but it was in fact KC, which I never heard of. The water from the shower had a terrible odor. It was a very strong sulfur smell, even left you smelling of it. Other than that, the property could use some updating. But was a clean and decent stay.

The pool was closed when we arrived, which was the main reason we booked this Holiday Inn. They refused to move us to their other property with an open pool unless we paid more. Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and gave us a credit so we could rebook. Holiday Inn offered no help or compensation—very disappointing service.

We stayed in a suite and were surprised to find there were no mirrors in the room other than the bathroom. Most hotels have a floor length mirror as well, which makes it easier when you have multiple girls getting ready. Other than that, hotel was great and the water pressure for the shower was excellent!

The property is nice and clean, friendly staff. Only issues we had was we were in 711 and the toilet ran all night keeping us up, also we were not informed that the ice machine on 7 didn’t work at all so had to keep going down to 6 to get ice. Had to find that out for myself. Also the guess laundry is in another building, “much worse shape and very hard to locate. Poorly marked and really long walk from 7 to not ba able to find it and have to go back to the desk to ask where it’s at to be told ito take a right and past the pool and around the corner and it’s rite there. But it’s not. There is a sign that sort of indicates to use the elevator but go inside and guess which floor it’s on, 1,2F or 3? 2F!! Then try and locate it down a long hallway and around another corner.! Finally found it!
