I have stayed here 5 times or so and have always had a very good experience. However, this time I had some problems. The room temperature was at 78 degrees when I checked in and had a strange smell. I waited for awhile to see if it would improve. When it got to 80, I tried adjusting the setting a few times before calling the front desk. She told me what to do, while cautioning me not to use the setting it was set on when i checked in. Also, when trying to turn on the water to take a shower, I had to use both hands to get the cold water to turn on. When done with the shower, I couldn’t turn the cold water off. Housekeeping also couldn’t turn it off, so she called the front desk. It was fixed when I came back from breakfast. It was a rough start to my day. I like this hotel, so I won’t give up yet. I will be staying a few more times in the next month, but definitely don’t want room #213!

The size of our King Suite was bigger than most rooms I have ever had, however, in desperate need of new carpeting and a new thermostat? We noticed after arriving the room was only at 67 degrees. We set the temp to 72 and left for a couple hours. When we came back the temperature had not changed at all. I called the front desk and she immediately offered a space heater. While I appreciated we had some form of heat, no offer to fix the problem would make me think this is a common issue perhaps? The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet at night. The pool temp was a bit cooler than I am used to so I didn't swim much. The hot tub one the other hand is very big and very nice!

Had to request a room change because of an overwhelming smell of weed on our floor and our room was lacking in cleanliness, especially the bedding. The front desk woman was accommodating and set us up in a different room, but we will most likely look elsewhere in the future.

The hotel is fine if you don't mind being subjected to 86 degree temperatures in your room. Apparently the boiler system in the building allows for 3 options...Heat when you select Heat, Heat when you select Cool, and Heat when you select fan only. Everyone in the lobby complained about it but the staff couldn't do anything to fix things. Stay clear.
