Greeted by a homeless man out front smoking, inside smelled like marijuana and smoke, smell carried through the halls and into our room on the top floor. Smelled like it was tried to be covered up, there were gnats infested in the sink, a heavy smell of urine in the bathroom. Sorry to say, this place needs to either fix things or reduce the price and use actual photos

Good location to visit the KC Zoo and Starlight Theater. Our room and the hotel in general looks a bit in rough shape. Could use an update. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Made up for some of the physical issues with the building.

On the outskirts of the park, location is perfect. Close to anything and then nothing but park. Trails tall trees, fishing, hills, picnicking. Relaxing & hassle of the city all at once.

Staff was very friendly. Hallways smelled like pot smoke. Our door didn’t shut unless you slammed it. Our bathroom fan was falling off the wall. We stayed 2 nights and no maid service was performed so I needed to ask for clean towels.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the hall we were on was very quiet. Was a little disappointed in the breakfast, but all in all great stay. Will stay again when we need to be that close to the Research Hospital.

Well it was a place to sleep for the night. Shower had holes in the wall, curtain had already fell off and they fixed it and did not fix the holes. All the tvs were hung crooked. Kinda dirty. The breakfast was a let down. I just wish the soccer fifa was not in town so I could have got a better room at another location. I have a year old baby and was afraid to set her down. If you need a place to sleep and don’t care where this is your place but if you have a small baby or want a clean experience this is not your place.

Cleanliness: The room was not properly cleaned prior to arrival. There was visible dust on the surfaces, and the bathroom lacked basic sanitation. Maintenance & Noise: The room suffered from poor soundproofing, making it difficult to sleep. I expected a much higher standard for the price paid. I recommend the management review their housekeeping and staff training protocols. I will not be returning to this property.

While the outside was basically trash-free, the inside interior was aged and faded…that was the good part. After receiving my room key, I tried to access my room, only to discover that it was already inhabited. The ease with which I was able to access entry made me leery of staying overnight, so I requested a refund and left.
