I was very disappointed in this Days Inn in Grandview Missouri. Nothing like other Days Inn’s I’ve stayed in before. Let’s start with all the people outside the front door vapping and smoking. The second you go in you are hit with the odor of vape and/or pot. But I decided to see my room. The hall again smelled like pot or vape. Very overwhelming. Rm 420. The door did not seal on the top or bottom. So smell came in my room. The bathtub was dirty and left the towel I used to clean it dirty. Around the tub and toilet needed better cleaning. I stayed 1 of 3 nights. When I went to breakfast, it was so messy and unclean. Syrup on everything crumbs, food on the tables, chairs, and floors. No food or drinks really. Cupboards broken and hanging open. Just a mess. So I found somewhere else, which happens to be a Wyndham Hills hotel also and enjoyed that one. However I lost $ in the whole thing. If I was Wyndham Hill corporate I would go there and see that this hotel is a big blemish on their name and needs to be revamped and get new management/owners.

I had to change rooms 3 times when I first checked in - the first room looked occupied & needed to be cleaned, the second room smelled like paint and the tv didn’t work, and the third room was finally decent. Due to the inconveniences, I don’t recommend staying at this property. They will happily take your money for the stay, but don’t care if you checkout early (or leave the property before your paid night stay).

We actually did NOT stay, it was that bad. We moved rooms once and it was worse than the first room. So we checked out about half hour after we checked in. Now we are trying to get a refund which has been like pulling teeth. No one answers the phone or if they do, the manager is never there. Do NOT stay here unless you like partying, loitering and drug use!
