My friend and I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Bernerhof, whilst on an adventure weekend of walking and the via Ferrata. The staff were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, and the breakfasts and evening meal were great, complemented by a view of the mountains!

Very good breakfast, easy parking and convenient to mountain hiking, the room was smaller than we expected but fine, although our twin beds were actually not separate from each other but connected. Overall, a lovely hotel

Lovely relaxing location.

Hotel in good location with fantastic views and excellent service. However the bathroom was cramped and in serious need of an upgrade, which was a shame as this the hotel was excellent otherwise. The owners were always present and very welcoming and happy to assist on every point. Great hiking location away from the tourist hoards.

Had the most wonderful stay at this lovely family hotel in Kandersteg. The owners and staff made sure we were well looked after. The room was spotlessly clean & comfortable and had the most amazing view with a balcony. The breakfast and dinner were delicious and service was outstanding. The birthday suprise was a very thoughtful touch too! Definitely recommend this super hotel.

Hospitality at its best!

The owner managers of this fine establishment are master and mistress of the craft of hospitality. What more can I say? Oh, and the food was very good. Go for half board, you don't need to leave the hotel to find better food!

Fabulous, gorgeous, wonderful

From check in to check out everything was perfect. I needed to do laundry and happiky accomplished it in the guest facility. I had a fabulous dinner with the owner Claudia and Gerhart making sure every detail was exceptional. My room was comfortable and clean, the TV had a few English channels. The plants throughout the hotel were gorgeous all tended to by Claudia. I was thrilled to arrive at this perfect hotel And sad to depart.
Looking to the hotel as I walked to the gondola
