Not a very friendly welcome but the hotel was clean and comfortable. It doesn’t go out of its way for guests, little things like coffee or tea. The TV was in an awkward spot and no real space for the kettle. It’s a hotel room plain and simply adequate for one maybe two nights max.

This was a very central hotel, ideal for visting all the sites on foot. The gardens, museums, samurai district and geisha districts were easily accessible. The breakfast was good with a wide selection of food. There were free drinks in the evening.

We loved this hotel so much!!! The location can’t be beat we were able to walk to everything in Kanazawa from it. Staff were lovely and pleasant and the room size, amenities and hospitality was an excellent start to our trip. Staff were professional and willing to help us out with any questions.

Fantastic base for exploring Kanazawa and beyond

Hotel was in a great location as the bus stop almost right outside the door has plenty of different routes got to it, so always very quick and easy to reach Kanazawa station. Most places within a half an hour walk too. Hotel itself was very clean and tidy, room was a decent size and staff very polite. Check in is at 3 and when we arrived early, they processed our infirmary and stored our luggage but checking if the room was available to go to earlier didn't seem to be an option (although that seems to be a general way of doing things in many hotels in Japan). Can't really fault anything with this hotel and would definitely stay here again if we were ever able to come back to Kanazawa.
