There was no air conditioning this time of year and my room was warm. I had to have the window open to stay cool. If you havenโt heard, Japan keeps indoors and transportation vehicles very warm during the cooler time of the year. People say, jacket outside, take it off inside. I did laundry at a laundromat near the hotel, 1 block. Close to the main station, mall practically next door, food choices nearby as well. The first night I didnโt know where to go and kept near the laundromat and it was raining. I ending up eating from Family Mart, which isnโt bad. I will say the meals from sushi or sashimi places the rest of the time was great. Kanazawa is known for seafood, so I tried to eat seafood for every meal, lol. Clean although small room is a Japan staple. Staff was very nice, which is 95% of Japanese people.
