This was a fantastic property. Probably the best we've stayed at on the Big Island over several years. The location is well placed among all the activities in the Kohala area, from resorts to beaches to shopping up in Waikoloa. The house is nicely decorated and well stocked, and everything is very well organized. The pool is quite warm. This house has some nice extra features that you don't often get like a set of bikes and exercise equipment, boogie boards and beach chairs, sand toys, and pool toys. The gold putting area is not my thing, but it's nice. Many places don't keep that kind of stuff around which we always thought was pretty silly for family oriented rentals. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are great. One thing to note I suppose (if there were anything to improve) would be that at least the bed in the master suite is a very stiff mattress and the bedroom itself is *extremely* creaky and noisy. Depending on your situation, some people might find that problematic. The owner/management were super responsive and easy to work with if we had any questions (there were no major issues needing attention though). The only other thing I'd wish for would be if this house were on the west side of the street so we could get a better sunset view from the comfort of the backyard. It's visible across the street but for better unobstructed views of water and sky, you'll need to pick a spot to watch from. You can see most of the sky from the front yard/driveway which is still ok.
