Baudin - Pet friendly and peaceful, close to the beaches, national parks.

Baudin is one of the two chalets on the river-facing block, fully self-contained, with two bedrooms, queen beds in each and 1 bathroom. One hectare block, with 7-strand ringlock fencing all around the property. Just 100m from the tranquil Kalgan River.

Pet friendly and peaceful, within 18kms of the centre of Albany and close to the beaches, mountains, national parks, wineries, restaurants and much more in the Great Southern.

Each chalet is thoughtfully appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining areas, complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi, smart TV, BBQ and convenient on-site parking.

The chalets feature both bedrooms with queen beds, a well-equipped bathroom, and laundry facilities, including a washing machine and dryer, making longer stays easy and convenient.

All water on the property is filtered rainwater and safe to drink from any tap.

The TV is internet-based only (no free-to-air channels at this stage).

One of the highlights of the property is its tranquil setting by the Kalgan River. Guests are welcome to enjoy the expansive grounds, local birdlife, and peaceful surroundings that make The French River Chalets such a special destination.

Please note that the Kalgan area like the rest of the Great Southern experiences cooler temperatures during winter. For your comfort, each chalet is equipped with reverse-cycle air conditioning in the living and dining area, and additional blankets are provided for chilly evenings.

🐾Travelling With Pets 🐾

We understand that pets are part of the family and may be accommodated by prior arrangement and approval. Please contact us before booking if you wish to bring your pet.

Please note:

* Pet approval is required before arrival.
• Approved pets must be supervised at all times unless securely crated.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and ensuring they do not disturb other guests or local wildlife. Throw pet droppings in the outside bin.
• Pets are kept out of bedrooms and off sofas so we can continue providing a clean and comfortable stay for all guests, including those with sensitivities to pet hair.
• Dogs are not left unattended for extended periods.
• Additional fees may apply.

The one-hectare property is fenced with 7-strand ringlock fencing, which provides a good barrier but is not completely escape-proof. There is no separate fence between the two chalets, please keep an eye on your dog, especially if they're curious or adventurous.

We provide a pet bed and water bowl for your convenience.
