Our stay in The Grand Hotel Kalamata was perfect. We were welcomed warmly when we arrived and shown the hotel's car park nearby. Our room was very spacious and had a separate sitting area as well as 2 bathrooms (No. 210). The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathrooms had a full range of amenities. All the rooms were spotless and decorated to a high quality. The public areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated and there were lots of seating options for meals. There was a wide range at breakfast and it was plentiful. We also ate dinner on one occasion in the hotel's restaurant. All the meals were very high quality and delicious. The staff were superb. They always greeted us with a smile and were friendly, helpful and efficient. We highly recommend The Grand Hotel Kalamata and plan to stay here again next time we are in Greece.

Our fourth stay, Athina in the lounge and the young men working breakfast changed our minds about the food and beverage staff which previously had been unorganized and the low point of our last stays...now, everyone provided the service you would expect from a 5 star! Brand new hotel. Very nice. "City view" rooms are more alley. But brand new and very nice. Great loukamadas in the square to the left and a faboulous local place to walk to well Taverena Katofli!! All the locals go, easy walk and excellent.

Grand is definitely Grand

Grand is Grand in all aspects Perfect location to get up and go to local beaches or other beaches within the area The hotel itself is excellent We had the suite facing the harbour Clean well sized room. Bathroom well sized, water pressure a bit on the low size Breakfast fantastic and the service was superb Also had dinner there one night outdoors across the street the food was excellent , same staff from breakfast and they were still working hard with a smile. Excellent lobby area if you simply want to sit Ample parking and if their lot is full simply give them the keys as they will double park in their lot and move cars around. Overall o would definitely stay here again.
