I’d give 4.5 if it was an option, it had Great view, grounds are tropical and clean, room was spacious, and clean, downside no elevators, no air conditioner (had a lock on it) but several fans. Would stay again

Everything thing was fine but the ac situation is unacceptable. Needs ac in the main living quarters. The fans are noisy, the ac in the bedroom archaic. Not at all a comfortable stay.

Sea Village is a wonderful option for a budget-conscious traveler in a group of 3-6 people. Pros: - It's close to the central tourist area of Kona. - The units have two bedrooms and a full kitchen. - The pool and community BBQ areas. - The staff are friendly. - They provide quality, high-powered fans. - Dolphins jumping in the bay! Cons: - You have to pay for AC, and it's not central. - The proximity to the road means it's very noisy at most hours between 7am and 9pm. - There is no sidewalk for walking to downtown Kona.(City's fault, not the property.) Overall, if you know you want to be central in Kona and need an affordable spot to jump off to local beaches and activities, this is a good option.

The room is spacious and clean. The office staff was not very accommodating for early check in even after 1:00 pm. My wife explained that our house was being fumigated and have been out of our house since 6:45 am and early check in would help us out but to no avail. In fairness to her, their check in time is 4 pm. If I knew this earlier, I would not have booked with Sea View.

At check in we had a little bit of extended wait time. She may have been in training. I think there was some confusion at check-in which led to a walk-in where I was underdressed. Followed by a knock at the door at 9:20 a.m. thinking we had checked out. My guest was at the door with our breakfast while I was still underdressed.

Place was so clean!! Kudos to maintenence and cleaning team. Nice view. Right on the ocean (no acess). Not impressed with couch comfort or front desk attitude. Value was great.

Very roomy and comfortable. Clean nice amenities. Could have been cooler. Bedroom was hot. We had a good time and will return. Brandy at the front desk was very nice and helped me out in a stressful situation with booking an extra night when no one else could seem to remedy my situation! Was very grateful! Would definitely come again.

Sea village was beautiful. We had a great view from the patio and even though the apartment didn't have air-conditioning, it was comfortable. Only thing missing was a beach.

Sea Village was good. I was in a 2bedroom 2bath that comfortably slept 6 with the murphy bed in the living room. I liked that it was in walking distance to the local farmer’s market, beach and the rental pedal bikes were right across the street. The rooms were decent, the beds were nice. Only down side was and they don’t let you know there is no central AC so the room got pretty warm during the day. It’s not too bad if you plan on spending most of your time out of the room, the nights were pretty cool. They do however have fans and stand alone AC units for $15 a day and you can only request one. Also the shower in the bathroom was tiny. I did have one issue, I was locked in my room on the first morning I was there. The screen door was locked from the inside and I couldn’t get it to open for about an hour it was about 6:30 in the morning and the front office didn’t open until 8:30. I did however get ahold of the maintenance guy but he was very rude and provided no help or reassurance. Luckily I was able to unlock it on my own after about an hour of carefully twisting and turning the lock. Overall it was Ok, I would come back and stay in a one bedroom as long as I had an AC unit.

The unit and location were excellent. Full kitchen and balcony with table to enjoy breakfast overlooking the oceanfront. The only negatives were no elevator and no AC unless you paid a $15/day charge for a portable AC located in the bedroom. If you are okay with only a fan then this is the place for you.

We were in is a one-bedroom unit of a large condo complex which appeared to be a mixture of owned and rented units. It is well run but the office is only staffed during the day. There is a communal picnic and pool facilities. Although on the waterfront, it has no ocean swimming or beach. There was a lovely view of the ocean and sunset from our unit. The WiFi was reliable in the bedroom but did not reach throughout the unit. The kitchen equipment and washer/dryer appeared new and worked well. There is a small air conditioner available in the bedroom at extra charge. We did not use it and were at times uncomfortably hot but usually the fans provided made the heat tolerable. The is no shopping to speak of within walking distance. We had a good time and would come here again.
