The common areas were amazing. The location is fantastic. Make sure to check in close to the check in time as they do run out of free onsite parking permits. The room is fine* and clean enough. *If you have any issues with AODA or just don’t want it in your space, call ahead and have them take the stocked alcohol out of your room before check in.

We asked for a microwave and was provided 1 but didn't know until check out that was 25 bucks. We booked through expedia but there was no information about having to pay to park or pay a resort fee.

When you read their website I get it, "not the Four Seasons". Hell, not even the Courtyard. "Luxurious bedding, high-end bath amenities, an extensive mini-bar selection" What hotel these days doesn't have a coffee maker? Room smelled musty, the GFCI outlet was hanging on the wall and not mounted properly, shower had minimal pressure, towels used a few too many times. Parking was a disaster. When you get to the hotel and everyone is double parked, including overflow lot, they told me to park at the courtyard. Out of pocket fee when I paid for parking on site. I woke up the first morning and someone was getting arrested in the parking lot and since there was only one driveway, we were trapped till the police left. I think the only upside was that over a busy week, this was the only hotel that could offer consecutive nights and if you plan on the Kona area, it is centrally located. Other than that, hard pass. Highly disappointed.

The window air conditioner was very loud and I was not able to sleep at all. Also the jalosy windows allowed light in and could not be blocked with the shade because the loud air conditioner was above it. I will not stay here again.
