Very good location, walking Distance to public beaches in Kona. Ocean view from the balcony is not exaggerating, we were lucky seeing whales while having breakfast. The room is rather clean and well maintained. The owner provided meticulous instructions which makes the checking process smooth. I would highly recommend this rental unit for couples travel.

First time staying on Big Island. When we booked this unit there was only one review, but we decided to give it a try. We arrived in the morning, and owner graciously let us check in early. Unit advertised as 1-bedroom, but it is a good size studio (no separate bedroom with the closet). Unit located on the 2nd floor, no elevator. Assigned parking available. AC and ceiling fans were very much appreciated. Unit was clean. For us, bed was a little too soft. Cabinet and sink in the bathroom were too high and I am 5'5". We didn't use kitchen too much... just coffee and fried eggs a few times. There is a coffeemaker, electric kettle, toaster, pots, pans, etc. Enough to cook your meal. Some spices, coffee and tea were provided. Kitchen doesn't have a lot of counter space for cooking big meals, but for some simple staff is enough. Also, the condo came with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, snorkeling equipment and a cooler to enjoy our beach day trip! From lanai you can see some ocean between two front buildings.... but mostly parking lot. We didn't stay there long enough to discover any swimmable beaches next to the condo. We found a few white sand beaches about 20-30 mins drive from this location. We liked the location; it is close to the airport and some restaurant and shops. Overall, we enjoyed our stay on a Bid Island. The owner is also very responsive and answered all our questions.
