Our courtyard room was perfect for our 2 night stay and the hotel is situated across the road from the beachfront. The centre of Kaikoura where the main shops and restaurants are was just a bit too far for us to walk to but not a problem as plenty of parking available. Small onsite car park but parking available in street outside hotel if full.

Spotless modern room in quiet collection of room adjacent to a lovely courtyard, footsteps from the Kaikoura beach and an easy walk to the heart of downtown shops and restaurants, as well as pier for seals and surf. Lobby is a great place to tuck in with a book by the fire if the weather changes. Lovely gracious hosts and staff. Highly recommend. A special gem amid all the modest hotels and dated motels that line the busier end of the beach.
