This hotel is a great deal, especially with a strong dollar. Our room was spacious and had a magnificent view of the volcano, the city and the sea. Staff were helpful and attentive. The tram that runs through the city stops right in front of the hotel so travel was especially easy.

Great hotel, staff & restaurants. Right by tramway line and the river. Room was large, clean, and with a great view of the volcano. Loved the spa and onsen. Not far from Kagoshima-Chuo Station. Would definitely recommend.

Karen on Concierge Desk was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help reunite me with property I left at my previous hotel. The manager in the Daily Social Restaurant was particularly helpful in accommodating our vegan requirements. The staff are a credit to the Sheraton Kagoshima.
