The room was noisy and the staff made us stay there the 3 first night. Front desk people not very nice, rude even. Mike the maintenance guy got us a different room in the fourth night, thank you Mike you made a difference. We had a blast, in general, but I do not think we will ever go back to Royal Lahaina. The beach was fenomenal.

I feel that there was mis/non communication about what was included with our stay. Our package stated breakfast buffet included. When checking in and confirming the same - the restaurant no longer has a buffet. What the staff neglected to relay properly was that, as a guest you would receive a credit instead. This was not relayed properly, just simply stating they no longer had the buffet. We attended the restaurant on our last day out of convenience and the waitress told us we had credits. When double checking with the front desk - again - they simply stated use or loose it and there was nothing they could do as they were not associated with the in hotel restaurant. When we again tried to explain that the front desk told us it was not available upon check in they again said it was not their problem. We tried to explain that it was not offered to us upon check in, and they said we should have done a better job of reviewing our package…. The confusion coming from the buffet being taken away about a month ago and the replacement being a $30 credit per person toward their menu. But this was not explained at the time of book in. The manager of the restaurant did offer our family lunch at their cost. Appreciated but frustrating after paying for 2 rooms for the week and not using the breakfast option.

Everything was great! Check-in was easy and on time. The room was clean and tidy, and it was exactly as expected with a partial ocean view. Expedia gave us a great benefit by offering an add-on that included breakfast and a free show ticket. The only thing that could be improved is reducing the parking fee. Overall, the experience was very good.

Power went out for 24 hours not of there doing but couldn’t get anything to eat when power came on they didn’t want to give us a reservation at 6:00 pm they were touring away people because they were booked up till after 8:00 pm that is unacceptable when the whole town was closed due to no power
