TAX
The State of Hawaii mandates a total tax of 17.962%. Excise tax is 4.712% and Transient Tax is 13.25% effective as of Jan 1, 2024 to be paid on all transient accommodations. Taxes are identified on the reservation confirmation (Subject to change). (The higher rate of 17.962% applies to all departures after 01/01/2024) regardless of when the property was booked.

Should owner succeed in re-booking any portion of the reserved dates, we'll be glad to refund any pro-rata share, less 30% cancellation Fee. Guests have access to all the Honua Kai Resort amenities subject to availability.

$15.00+tax/day for parking for a second car. Maximum 2 parking spaces/condo.

Stays 14 nights or longer will require a linen exchange service of $190.00 + Hawaii taxes, paid by the guest.


Bed in the third bedroom can be converted to two twins beds upon request. Cleaners charge $50.00 plus Hawaii taxes for this service.
