Pro: Price was good. Pet friendly. Staff are super nice. Convenient location for Joshua Tree NP. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bedding and towels were clean. Cons: Room had a funky smell and the floor was a little dirty, but it wasn’t bad. Since you can’t smoke in the rooms, many smokers hung around outside. Made it somewhat stinky, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Glad people respected the “No Smoking” policy in the rooms. Note: I booked the room on Expedia for a king sized bed, but they actually don’t have any king sized. Since I paid extra for the bigger bed, they gave us a room with two queen sized beds. Worked out well. We did a quick overnight stay and didn’t need anything fancy. This fit the bill. I’d stay here again.

The room was quite dirty. All the corners of the rooms had so much dirt & grime. The heating unit was also extremely dusty & dirty so we kept it off. The room size is good and the price is good. Definitely bring some slippers.

The room smelled very strongly of smoke, and I woke up multiple times during the night to heavy weed and cigarette smoke smells. There was no shampoo or conditioner, even in the main office. No microwave or coffee maker in the room. Pillows were tiny and uncomfortable. The only amenity was coffee in the lobby. Staff were kind and friendly, but I probably won't stay at a Motel 6 again since all my belongings now smell like secondhand smoke.
