The backyard is where much of life at Zendo House happens. A generous saltwater pool anchors the patio, surrounded by loungers for reading, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the desert scenery. Just beyond the pool, an oversized in-ground hot tub offers a place to soak while taking in the surrounding Joshua trees and mountain views. With plenty of seating throughout the outdoor spaces, the group can spread out without feeling far apart.



A shaded dining area beneath the pergola seats eight, making outdoor meals an easy part of the day, whether it's a leisurely lunch or dinner as the sky changes color. Nearby, a spacious fire pit lounge with deep cushioned seating invites everyone to settle in as temperatures cool. Hammocks and a separate front porch gathering area offer quieter places to unwind.



Native desert landscaping and the surrounding open terrain give the property its distinctly Joshua Tree character. The yard is not fully fenced, allowing the natural landscape to remain part of the setting.

The main living room is welcoming without feeling formal, with a deep green sofa, comfortable upholstered chairs, and a substantial wood coffee table beneath the vaulted ceiling. Organic textures, woven accents, and carefully chosen artwork bring warmth to the otherwise clean architectural lines.



It's a lovely place to ease into the morning with coffee, catch up over a glass of wine, or settle in for a movie. Sliding glass doors bring in natural light and open directly onto the patio, while a smart TV and Sonos sound system provide entertainment when the group decides to stay indoors.

Designed for easy meals and entertaining, the kitchen features stone countertops, sleek white cabinetry, and modern appliances, with plenty of cookware, bakeware, serving dishes, and glassware for preparing meals together.



Coffee lovers have their choice of a French press or drip coffee maker, along with a grinder and electric kettle. An additional wine and beverage refrigerator keeps refreshments close at hand.



One of the kitchen's best features is its connection to the outdoors. A window overlooks the pool, while a convenient serving window opens to the patio, making it easy to pass drinks and dishes outside. For indoor gatherings, the dining table seats eight beneath a woven pendant, surrounded by the home's warm, natural finishes.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Each of Zendo House's three bedrooms features a king-size gel memory foam mattress, a smart TV, and striped robes, creating a comfortable retreat at the end of the day. The home accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms and two full bathrooms.



The primary suite has a relaxed, thoughtfully layered feel, with woven accents, a comfortable lounge chair beside the window, and direct access to the pool area. Its ensuite bathroom is particularly inviting, featuring a floating vanity, walk-in shower, and freestanding soaking tub positioned to enjoy views of agave and the surrounding mountains.



The second bedroom pairs a linen headboard with warm-toned textiles and includes a generous closet for longer stays. The third takes a quieter, more minimal approach, with soft bedding, pendant lighting, and understated decorative details.



A second full bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower is conveniently located off the hallway and serves the two guest bedrooms.



-Game Room-

For a change of pace, the separate game room lounge offers a more playful side of the house. An air hockey table sets the stage for a little friendly competition, while the oversized sectional and cozy accent seating make it easy for everyone else to watch, join in, or simply hang out.



A large smart TV turns the room into a comfortable movie-night retreat, and its own mini-split air conditioning keeps the space comfortable throughout the year. It's an especially welcome addition for groups who want room to enjoy different activities without crowding into one living space.

Zendo House also has a dedicated space for slowing down. Six yoga mats are provided, giving the entire group the option to begin the day with a stretch, practice together, or simply enjoy a few quiet moments before heading out.
