THE SPACE



Twilight Villas combines Blackstone House and Solara Mesa into one flexible group stay. Rather than squeezing everyone into a single large home, your group gets two complete villas side by side, each with its own bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces, pool, and spa. Across both homes are six king bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and two sofa beds, creating comfortable sleeping arrangements for 16+ guests. The separate kitchens and living areas make mornings and downtime easier for larger groups, while the shared destination keeps everyone close. Each villa keeps its own personality. Blackstone House offers a quiet, spacious desert setting surrounded by Joshua Trees, while Solara Mesa adds a sauna, mini golf, oversized chess, pool cabanas, and expansive desert and mountain views. Together, they create a stay with more ways to relax, play, and experience the High Desert.

OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE



Twilight Villas gives your group two complete outdoor retreats instead of one. Move between two private pools and spas, recharge in Solara Mesa's sauna, play mini golf or bocce, settle beneath the cabanas, or turn the oversized chess set into an afternoon challenge. When it's time to eat, fire up the BBQs and gather outside. As evening arrives, the experience slows down. Gather around the outdoor fire pit at Solara Mesa, look out across the desert, and enjoy the kind of open sky that makes Joshua Tree feel far removed from everyday life.



GOOD TO KNOW



BBQ GRILLS



Our BBQ grills run on propane gas, which we provide, so there’s no need to bring your own.



POOL HEATING



Pool heating is available with at least 24 hours' notice and can reach up to 85°F. Because this reservation includes two separate pools, heating is charged per pool: $200/day per pool from May through September and $250/day per pool from October through April. Pool and spa heating cannot operate simultaneously within the same villa.



SPA



Spa use is included at no additional charge.



PETS



Up to two dogs are welcome with a $100 fee per pet, per stay. All pets must be disclosed before arrival.



PARKING



On-site parking is available for the villas. Please use designated parking areas and driveways.



POOL SERVICE



Routine pool service takes place Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Our technician accesses the outdoor areas only and does not need to enter the homes.



IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW



We want every guest to enjoy Twilight Villas safely while helping us keep both homes in great condition. Please review the following before booking.



PARTIES, EVENTS & VISITORS



Parties and events are not permitted. Any additional visitors must be approved by the host before arrival and must leave the property by 9:00 PM in accordance with local STR requirements. Unauthorized visitors may result in a $200 fee per person.



POOL & SPA SAFETY



Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times while using or being near either pool or spa. No diving or glass is permitted in the pool areas. Please use all pool and spa amenities responsibly and at your own risk.



PETS & POOL



Pets are not permitted in either pool or spa. Guests are responsible for their pets at all times, including any damage or additional cleaning caused during the stay. Please also be mindful of cactus, desert plants, and wildlife when pets are outdoors.



DESERT WILDLIFE



Twilight Villas is surrounded by a natural High Desert environment. Insects, rodents, snakes, spiders, and other wildlife may occasionally be encountered. Please keep doors closed when possible and remain aware of your surroundings. Encounters with wildlife or insects that are part of the natural desert environment are not grounds for a refund.



PLUMBING & SEPTIC SYSTEM



Both villas use septic systems. Only toilet paper may be flushed. Improper use resulting in clogged or damaged plumbing may result in a $200 repair fee.



NO SMOKING



Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside either villa or within 15 feet of exterior doors. Failure to follow this policy may result in a $100 additional cleaning fee.



SECURITY CAMERAS



In accordance with insurance company requirements, exterior security cameras monitor the front and rear entrance areas for guest and property safety. All security cameras are located outside the property. There are no cameras inside the homes. Cameras may not be tampered with, covered, or disabled during your stay.



PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE



Personal photos and videos are welcome, and you're welcome to tag @visithideaway. Professional, promotional, commercial, or revenue-generating photography and filming require prior approval and may be subject to production fees. Unauthorized commercial shoots may result in a $5,000 violation fee plus applicable production fees of up to $575/hour. If you're unsure whether your shoot qualifies as commercial use, please contact us before booking.



LATE CHECK-OUT



Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests who remain at the property after 11:05 AM will be charged a $75 late check-out fee for every 30 minutes past the check-out time.



DAMAGES



Accidents happen. If anything is damaged, broken, or seriously stained during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so our team can assist. Guests are responsible for damage resulting from misuse or failure to follow property guidelines.



Guest Access:

You'll have private access to both villas and their guest amenities during your stay. The homes use smart locks, and your access information will be provided before arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Twilight Villas is located in Joshua Tree, with Joshua Tree National Park and the area's restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and desert experiences within driving distance. The two-home setup gives your group a private place to return to after exploring, with enough amenities that staying at the property can easily become part of the trip.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for exploring Joshua Tree and the surrounding High Desert. On-site parking is available at both villas. Please use the designated parking areas and driveways.
