The Space:

La Noche brings a playful, bohemian spirit to the wide-open Joshua Tree landscape. Inside, warm plaster-toned walls, sculptural lighting, natural textures, and inviting furnishings create a home that feels thoughtfully designed without being precious. Large windows frame the surrounding desert, while sliding doors make it easy to move between the comfortable interiors and the outdoors. It's an intimate retreat where mornings unfold slowly, afternoons are best spent outside, and the evening often becomes everyone's favorite part of the stay.

The outdoors is where La Noche really comes into its own. Start the morning with coffee on the covered patio, take a leisurely swim in the private pool, or stretch out on a lounge chair with nothing on the agenda. There's plenty of room to find your own favorite spot, whether that's the macrame swing chair, a seat in the shade, or the pool deck with the desert stretching out around you.



As the afternoon cools, fire up the gas grill and enjoy dinner outside while the mountains turn shades of pink and gold. The hot tub is especially inviting around sunset, with an expansive view across the valley. After dark, gather around the propane fire pit for drinks and conversation before heading out to see the stars.

The living room is cozy, creative, and wonderfully relaxed. A custom built-in sofa lined with soft cushions anchors the space, complemented by a sculptural coffee table, recessed shelves, and an eclectic collection of artwork and decorative pieces. Glass doors invite in natural light and open toward the patio, making the room feel connected to the landscape.



It's an easy place to curl up with a book, catch up over a glass of wine, or spend a quiet evening together after exploring Joshua Tree.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The bright, contemporary kitchen makes staying in feel like part of the vacation. A generous white island with comfortable upholstered stools creates a natural gathering place for preparing breakfast, sharing appetizers, or keeping the cook company over a glass of wine.



The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction stove, oven, dishwasher, cookware, blender, and coffee maker. Open wood shelving, warm finishes, and statement pendant lighting give the room a welcoming, design-forward feel.



An indoor dining table seats four, while the outdoor dining area offers another option for leisurely breakfasts and dinners with a desert view.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

The king bedroom is a peaceful retreat with warm, earthy finishes, premium linens, woven pendant lighting, and a view of the surrounding landscape. A sliding glass door opens directly outside, where you can catch the last light of the evening or wake up to the quiet desert morning. A wall-mounted TV makes it equally inviting for a movie before bed.



The living room's custom sofa also accommodates one guest as a single bed.



The home's bathroom carries through the clean, modern design with a floating sink, organically shaped mirror, walk-in shower, and thoughtful finishing touches. Bath essentials and hotel slippers are provided.



-Stargazing Dome and Canvas Tent-

La Noche's most distinctive experiences are found beyond the main house.



Follow the wooden boardwalk to the clear geodesic stargazing dome, set on its own raised deck overlooking the open desert. Settle into the cushioned lounge and look up through the transparent panels as the evening sky grows darker. Away from the lights and distractions of everyday life, it's a wonderful place to spend an evening talking, watching the stars, or simply enjoying the stillness.



The separate canvas tent offers another kind of escape. Draped in soft fabric and furnished with rugs, cushions, and warm desert colors, it feels like a little bohemian hideaway of its own. Bring a book, lounge in the shade, or retreat here for some quiet time between swims.



Together, these spaces give La Noche its personality. It's not just a house with a view, but a place that encourages you to spend more of your vacation outdoors, enjoying the desert at your own pace.



Guest Access:

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



The trailer on the property is used for storage only; please do not enter it.



The Neighborhood:

La Noche is reached by a dirt road, which gives the home a secluded feel while keeping town within 15 minutes.

Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



The property is accessed via a dirt road. Many roads in the area are dirt or unpaved, so please drive slowly and carefully. A four-wheel drive vehicle is not required; however, roads may have ruts or uneven surfaces, particularly after rainfall.
