Very nice hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hotel cafe, Burger Theory, was great. Pleasantly surprised to find a good restaurant in the hotel and not have to search the area for somewhere to eat dinner. After dinner we sat outside around the fire pit next to the lake and listened to the bull frogs croak. It was a nice experience. No complaints.
Great property and location adjacent to the interstate. However, I was very displeased with the fact I had ants in my room the next morning after my son left out some food in the kitchen area the night prior.
Clean extremely nice and elegant. Haven’t been to one like this. Had an issue with the 1st with it being a new hotel. But had it resolve quick. Will be returning to this one
Began with wrong room type ... eas to be mobility accessible ... put in room where getting to bathroom almost not accessible. Offered to have staff helped to get wheel chair to bath (clearly not a help.unless trips to toilet scheduled thru nite.
Ended with room keys inactivated at exact check out time. Leaving me putside room and disbled friend trapped inside. Housekeeping supervisor smiled when I went for help .. but spoke NO English.
Multiple unhappy guests at front desk each time I went there.
Our room had multiple large patches of black mold on the wall near the ceiling (wish I could post pictures here). Asked the front desk we could have a different room and they said they were completely sold out. Maintenance came by to clean the wall by just spraying a solution and wiping it, in an out in only a minute, then our room smelled like bleach and we couldn’t ventilate the room because the windows don’t open. I’m allergic to mold and my wife gets migraines easily from potent chemical-y smells. Told the hotel that this is not up to standards as a comfortable, let alone habitable room and that we should be appropriately refunded some amount. They said that since I booked through a third party and not the hotel directly that they couldn’t do so, but that they could give us 2 breakfast vouchers and 500 points (worth around $4 based on my searching) and they didn’t even add the reward points to my account. Very frustrating.
Did not have the room available that I reserved. After over an hour I had to take the first room they gave me because I needed a handicapped shower. The room was not finished (this was a new hotel): an unhung cork board was laying on the desk, the desktop was scratched, the floors were dirty, there was no sitting chair, the bathroom sink was leaking. The only thing they addressed was putting towels under the leaking sink. Floors never were cleaned, even though they promised it would be done three days in a row.
