The large farmhouse has five cozy bedrooms, providing ample space to comfortably sleep up to 14. We are just 10 minutes from Gore Mountain Ski Area and its Nordic Center, and 25 minutes from Garnet Hill Cross Country Ski Center, making this the perfect place to base your winter vacation. Our own 164-acre property offers plenty of fields and woods to explore on skis or snowshoes as well.

Getting Around:
Johnsburg is a very quiet little hamlet, one of 7 in the 130,000 acre, Town of Johnsburg NY. A vehicle is necessary, you must have your own transportation to get here and get around. There is no public transportation, Uber or Lyft in this area, and no access to buses, trains or taxis here. The nearest bus stop is in Warrensburg about 18 miles.
The nearest store of any kind is in North Creek as well as other business are located in North Creek(10 Mi.) The nearest gas station is also in North Creek. Big supermarkets and box stores in Queensbury (28 Mi.)
Tube and canoe rentals are available locally. For great whitewater rafting or just floating, there is the upper Hudson river and a number of lovely pristine lakes to paddle on within reach as well as hundreds of hiking and biking opportunities. Scott can help with arranging rafting, kayaking and canoeing outings.
