We stayed for 1 night while passing through Johannesburg. The complimentary airport shuttle is convenient and our driver was very friendly. Upon arrival, our bags were taken to our room and we got a quick tour of the property. There is a breakfast buffet and dinner buffet, both of which offered variety and good quality food. The bar was well stocked as well. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and even helped us order UberEats delivery for lunch since they don’t provide lunch. We sat outside, ate lunch and had beers from the bar. The grounds are beautiful and felt safe. Our room was clean and minimal, but a nice place to stay after 24 hours of flying. The pool is heated, and while we didn’t use it, many people did and said how nice it was to have a warm pool to relax. We were incredibly happy with our stay, and would stay again if passing through Johannesburg.

A wonderful little oasis just 5 minutes from the Jburg airport. Serene environment with comfy rooms, delicious food and a lovely, accommodating spa. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Pleasant one night family stay.

We stay only one night to rest from a long trip from the US. This hotel is close to the JBN airport and it was the best option for us to have dinner since we arrived at 7pm. The hotel has a nice restaurant, tempered pool, bar, and the service staff was great!

From the time our shuttle driver testimony picked us up to the time. Tony dropped us back at the airport. We were 100% happy with our choice to stay at so I’m not guest house. The girls at the desk, the cleaning crew, the spotless, clean, comfy rooms. The natural beauty of the property were amazing! The breakfast buffet was unbelievable and we highly recommend you pay for the dinner buffet that they serve between seven and 8:15 in the evening. Solomon and his cooking crew prepared many delicious dishes. We highly recommend the chicken skewers. Coffee cappuccino espresso tea is available 24 hours. We have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay here, we stay two nights, but wish we were able to stay longer. Sun is just minutes from the airport. They have a huge dining area with pool table bar exercise rooms, and a gift shop. I don’t know where they find these amazing employees but every single person contributed to our very happy stay at Sun rock guesthouse. Highly highly recommend.

Wonderful Sunrock Guesthouse

Sunrock Guesthouse is a real treasure. Although it is close to the airport , you feel like you’re in a garden paradise. Everyone there couldn’t be more welcoming and eager to make sure your stay is perfect. Don’t miss their wonderful massage therapist !

Small quiet secure and lively place to start! Beds amazing , rooms were pristine and we loved the solitude compare to a me, too hotel! Showers were huge with hot water! Loved everything about this place! Dinner on site by Chef Solomon was amazing! Delicious variety on a hot and cold dinner buffet was definitely something not to miss! Breakfast was also buffer style and just to packed with deliciousness to describe!

Fantastic oasis in Kempton Park, conveniently close to the airport. Heated pool, best breakfast we had in our 3 weeks away, friendly staff, very safe property. We will definiteky stay again. They also do complementary pick ups and drop offs to the airport, a spa and also full and half day trips. This hotel is a great place, thank you for hosting us!
