The room was clean, a little smaller than expected. There was consistent noise coming through drom the window (fan / generator like sound ) this kept us awake for 2 nights but we got offered another better room which was much better . Thank you for that. Breakfast waa the highlight of the stay. Lots of options and very tasty too. Lovely clean pool and apace to unwind outside. Overall splendid experience!

Rooms are tired yet spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but evidently not enough of them. Breakfast was good but half the dining room was closed off so guests were crowded into an unnecessarily small area, staff?. Airport shuttle excellent - every 15 minutes! No room service despite there being a number for in-room dining, staff?. Reception takes far too long to answer the phone so once in the room “you’re on your own”, again perhaps indicative of undermanning. Although the premises is very clean and inviting, the area around the hotel is most definitely not. 300 metres from a Gautrain station but no way to walk there. The building speaks to an issue - in my opinion that has beset many of the “old” hotels around O.R Tambo, they are tired and very outdated. It’s a shame that for many people on their first trip to Africa - certainly South Africa, that this is the first African hospitality they are exposed to. Not the best impression!

Room was great for what we needed. Property is being redecorated so fresh paint and clean. Shuttle service was convenient and free We didn't have any info for room service. Reception provided us with menus and said to call a number... Phone wasn't set up ... Ordered at restaurant and had to chase an hour later. Pizzas were delicious though! We had the chicken and Debbie's delight - yum. In balance, would def stay again.

Great hotel with free shuttle to and from the airport. The buffet breakfast and dinner were great. Than being said it is not close to the city but you can easily get an Uber to and from the hotel. If you want to be near the airport this is a great choice.

Sadly not a great hotel. Booked a superior king room and it was far from superior. Arrived at the hotel and advised by receptionist that they had moved our room to a much larger room. Didn’t look any different from what we booked to be honest. Carpet was worn, decor overall was dated, bathroom very dated- struggle to even figure out the shower the next morning. Originally also booked for our return trip back to Johannesburg but since cancelled and booked into another hotel. Best part about this place was Rosie O’Grady bar, the hotel staff and the transfer staff.
