River Cottage is a luxuriously appointed property just 20 metres from the banks of the Wingecarribee River. The cottage offers a modern, comfortable, country escape. The cottage boasts 2 beautiful bedrooms each with full river views. Each room has a queen bed and a single. Open the louvre windows to bring the sound of the river in. Or the cool breeze at night. Everything about our stay stood out! It was a highlight of our trip through NSW. The house was perfect for our two families. The house itself had everything that you need….comfy beds, a super duper coffee machine, modern kitchen & bathroom, an outdoor fire pit, super clean, wood fire & a veranda over looking a river. The best part though was the position of the house, it was right down by a river that was perfect for exploring or swimming. We all agreed that we would love to have stayed there longer. A week would be perfect!

The Cottage was an excellent place to stay. The Cottage itself is well equipped and the location is delightful for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature. We saw kangaroo, emu, wombats and a platypus which was probably the icing on the cake.

Cozy cottage in paradise

This place is amazing. Exactly as advertised and then some. Super easy to access, beautiful house with enough room for everyone, a perfect river running out the front with penty of little beaches to explore and relax on. A little slice of reasonably proced heaven

I expected good things, but the place was beyond that!

This place exceeded expectations, even the drive in (we had kangaroos hop alongside the car). The place was very clean, warm and welcoming! It was in a secluded location so you felt like you were in your own little world in the middle of the bush. Will definitely be back!

The property was amazing! Making contact with property manager was very easy and they responded quickly. Everything was just like as it was listed. Kids really loved it. No TV was a bonus because it got the kids to be out of the house. They were outside running around bonding with nature when possible. Definitely a place our family would like to come back. Perfect in every way.

We loved our 3 night stay at the River Cottage. Perfect in every way-comfortable,quiet and well equipped. Coffee machine was fantastic! Saw lots of animals on our walks incl. deer,kangaroos, a fox and wild pigs. Perfect for families or couples as a relaxing country getaway.
