This is my 6th time staying here and with each time the service gets worse and worse. The staff here were disgusting to me over the entire holiday week. The only way to get something from them when asked, was to get a manager involved and then watch them two yell it out in front of me. It was DISGUSTING.

The hotel is directly across the street from the Great Synagogue in Jerusalem. Super convenient for the holidays. They offer meals for all of the holiday days.Shabbat elevators. Kosher. Services in the hotel itself if you don’t want to go across the street. They provided the Yahrzeit candle that I let for my parents.

Breakfast buffet was amazing & delicious however it would be nice if the waiters could come around and serve coffee rather than having to make it yourself. Pool and outdoor area was very nice. Hotel staff was very nice and accommodating.

Avoid like the plague

We came as an emergency booking for our grandmothers funeral all the way from Miami. We had booked 2 rooms but one person was unable to make the trip so we only needed one room. We called and called but nobody bothered picking up the phone. When we got there we told them that and the receptionist looked at the computer and confirmed there was only one room in our reservation. We were also told that for a fee we can get a late checkout since our flight back 2 days later was at midnight. At checkout despite rooms available in virtually EVERY category on Hotels.com that night she tells us there are no rooms available to allow a late checkout and they start banging on our door at 11:05 am to throw us out waking up my grieving wife who had trouble falling asleep until 5am. Then to top it off after checkout we see a charge for the second room! After getting the run around from Hotels and the Reception ( each telling me the other one is responsible and the hotel central not picking up the phone) we still got nowhere. This while here for a funeral. I do not like being lied to. My family has stayed at this place before and I have made it my mission to not have any of them ever come again! If you like being lied to and aggravated this is the place for you. If you want an honest place to stay- clean and comfortable go anywhere else!

Absolutely Awful – Never Again

Rude, arrogant staff who treat guests like a nuisance. Rooms are filthy, ancient, and falling apart — stained carpets, broken furniture, and a smell that makes you want to leave immediately. This place is a dump charging luxury prices. Stay anywhere else in Jerusalem.
A sad excuse for a hotel pool — surrounded by a ragged rope fence like a crime scene, filthy tiles, and broken loungers. Nothing inviting here, unless you’re a fan of disappointment
Two lumpy twin beds shoved together and called a ‘double’ — bedding wrinkled and cheap, mattress harder than stone. Comfort clearly isn’t a priority.
Rust, mold, and grime on the shower door frame — the kind of detail that shows zero maintenance and zero pride in presentation.
Peeling paint, stains, and visible cracks — a room that looks like it hasn’t seen a proper renovation in decades

Keep away!

The hotel needs a total refurb. The bathrooms are ancient and the aircon sounds like a tractor in reverse and controls are not accurate. Parking is just impossible as the car park is always full. The only plus is location and breakfast was amazing. But room comfort is not even one star. And general staff service is ....they dont really care. The security guys are out to show force and always shout at you. I will not stay there again. In one word. Ugh.

Supposedly 4 or 5 star hotel. Friendly staff but the bathroom was dirty esp inside the bathtub scree - nobody cleaned there for decades. Absolutely hate when an expensive hotel uses cheap toilet paper. Little choice at the bar. Really disappointing!!!

I’ve stayed here numerous times over the years and it’s always been dated but clean. This time the staff were rude, the rooms were dirty as were the bathrooms and the dining room just felt unclean. This hotel needs a total revamp. I won’t be staying here again.

Please don't use the "war" excuse -- we experienced two other Jerusalem hotels during our stay, both with attentive people, clean facilities -- which this hotel doesn't have. Seems like they're on austerity -- the pancake maker doesn't show, so there's no pancakes. No one to help with the luggage. Room not spic and span clean -- old hairs in the bathroom. To their credits parking was easy.
