This was our first stay with Hyatt. The room was clean, other than a baby sock we found in the couch. We have no babies. The bed, sheets, and towels were all fresh. The bed was a little stiff, and the pull out couch mattress was very hard. On the first night we noticed that it was a little warm in our room. We tried setting to 68, but it felt like 73 degrees. We called the desk to ask if someone could fix this and they sent someone up immediately. That person said that they could not figure out why it was warm or would not go any lower to try and cool the room down, and that was the best they could do. It just kept getting hotter because we all three had to take showers and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. It was hot and humid. The food offered for the complimentary breakfast had good options, but the line to get breakfast was a ridiculous wait every morning. Then when you finally got your food, there was no where to sit unless you sat at a table with other people. I have no problem sitting with other people, but given the time of year and the flu running rampant, I don't think other people appreciate that. We ended up eating in our room. Aside from this, we would stay here again. The parking garage was reasonable, the hotel validates. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and as helpful as they could be. The hotel location is amazing if you plan on taking the PATH or the light rail. The view of New York City from the roof top is incredible.
