About this space
Complete with ample outdoor space, oceanfront views and breezes, and elegant finishes throughout, this 3-bedroom, 3-bath vacation rental has all the perks of a luxurious coastal resort with the serenity of a private retreat. Outside, you'll find an idyllic covered deck, a built-in grill, and easy access to the ocean. The tidal swings in this part of Georgia can be significant, sometimes 6-9 feet. If the tide is high, the beach is always accessible just a couple of minutes away.
The space
Originally a 1-story bungalow, built in 1959, our home was updated in 2009 with a 2nd floor that has stunning views of the ocean. Enjoy the breeze from 1 of 2 balconies.

My family of six really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, spotless, updated home. My favorite spot was the covered porch off the primary bedroom; the large, comfortable sectional sofa was the perfect spot to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean.

Beautiful property and area, though you cannot walk down to the beach from that area as there is no beach. The tides have washed it away, so you have to walk around 1/2 mile to a nice beach area.

The home was clean and neat. Lots of amenities to keep it that way (outdoor shower, places to keep beach toys etc outside). The grill and the dining/living area upstairs are top-notch. Thoughtful additions like a cart for the elevator, bikes, chairs, and wagon, and ceiling fans in all outdoor seating areas make it easy to enjoy everything without getting bitten by mosquitoes or other bugs. The beds, sofas, etc very comfortable and felt new and clean. Beautiful views of the ocean.

The house lives up to its name. It was a real “gem”. The property was in a good location and was very clean. It had lots of space for our family. Our host was easy to communicate with. We truly enjoyed the stay!
