We absolutely loved our stay here. There was plenty of room for our family of four and dog. Our kids had so much fun exploring the house and grounds. The house had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen to cook meals. The property was well-situated for easy day trips to Tweetsie Railroad and Boone. Comfortable Cottage

Marc’s cottage is in a great location: private among the trees but close enough to W Jeff that we could quickly and easily drive into town for lunch, and very close to state parks for hiking/picnics. The cottage furniture was comfortable and there were plenty of places to choose from that make perfect reading nooks. It’s a great place to chill in for days or be home base for adventures. We will be back!

Unique charm in a quiet setting

If you're looking for an out of the ordinary house with a funky charm, this is the place. Very peaceful surroundings but close enough to Jefferson /West Jefferson and all those areas have to offer. There is actually a great walking/hiking trail about three miles from the house.

Charming Cottage

Peaceful and close to so many great places. We had day trips to Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, Sparta, and Mount Jefferson. Coming back to the sweet little cottage was always thrilling. Marc is such a great host and so accommodating.
