This property is located in Terminal 1 in the secured airside Departures area of Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport. To reach the hotel, guest must first clear the security check point for transit passengers, then take the escalator to level 2 of International Departures. The hotel is next to the Duty Free area. It’s important that guests do not clear arrival immigration, as they will not be able to re-enter the restricted area again without a valid onward boarding pass. Re-entry to the restricted area is subject to the airlines’ check-in counter opening hours which varies by airline. Upon arrival in Jeddah, guests who do not have their connecting flight’s boarding pass or if their bags are tagged to Jeddah must approach the airline transit counters for assistance (do not clear immigration). Domestic travelers are not able to access this property.
Aerotel Jeddah is located within the international departures area of King Abdul Aziz International Airport Terminal 1 (Airport Restricted). This property is accessible only to passengers departing on an international flight, and transit passengers connecting from an international flight to another international flight. Guests arriving on an inbound flight must not leave the transit area or clear arrival immigration. Guests departing from Jeddah city must be checked-in on an outbound international flight. Guests must be in possession of a valid boarding pass for an international flight and a valid travel document to access Aerotel Jeddah. It would have been a 5 star rating had the check-in process been smoother. Check-in took forever and it was slow. Other than that, room is very nice and clean for a quick 6 hour stay. It’s essentially in the duty free area so we can get water and snacks easily.

I found it quite comfortable place. The staff was very cordial especially the manager. Room was clean and spacious. I booked a room with two beds which was good for me, wife & two kids. Two minor issues there is currently no internet & TV cable but they r working on it. However since we want to have some sleep before our next flight it didn’t matter for me & wife but our kids after their sleep want to watch & get entertained so internet could be definitely an issue for kids. I highly recommend for transit travelers.
