We could not have been made more welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was better than one in a 5 star hotel we stayed in the next night. Dinner was booked for us as we had arrived late in the day. Better service is hard to find.

A fabulous stay

The Royal was a terrific find for us. The owners were delightful and the hotel their pride and joy. Breakfast is delicious and included and the room, and bed were very comfortable. The shower is good also.

We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Hotel. Though the hike up to the third floor was a bit of a challenge with suitcases, the room was comfortable as was the bed. Breakfast downstairs was very nice. We would stay here again in the future!

The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was freshly cooked to order. However, there was no bar or restaurant in the hotel and apparently all the nearby bars in Jedburgh close at 8pm! Luckily there was a fantastic Italian restaurant opposite which was superb so we ate well.

This is an historic home made into a hotel. It’s in a perfect place for exploring Jedburgh with restaurants and shopping just a stone’s throw away. Very convenient and free parking close by. The lovely staff took good care of us and breakfast was delicious!

Great B&B with lovely staff

We stayed here after a gig at Floors castle and it was just what we needed. There is a free car par just down from the hotel and the staff were all great and accommodating with later check in. Rooms were good size and comfortable and breakfast was nice. The B&B itself is perfectly positioned for exploring the local area and we were lucky enough to be there during on a craft fayre day in the town which was great, thanks to the owners for letting us know about this! Would recommend and stay again if back in that area :)

Currently hotel offers bed and breakfast only. Room was large,as was the bed, and was very clean and comfortable with a good en-suite. Breakfast consisted of cereal, fruit juice,toast and a six item I (including haggis) individually cooked to order which sets you up for the day ahead.

Traditional hotel in the heart of Jedburgh. A lovely Breakfast was served to your table. Room was very clean with a huge double very comfortable bed. Owner, who served breakfast was very friendly.

Very welcoming. Everything was explained clearly. I was helped with luggage up the stairs and table booked at Italian restaurant for me. Room was clean and airy, big window high ceiling. Bed and bed linen good. Wi-Fi worked well. Tv was a touch on the small side for the watching distance. Breakfast was served and very well cooked and tasty.
