Excellent séjour au Mandarin Oriental Jakarta Nous avons passé trois très belles journées au Mandarin Oriental Jakarta en famille. Le personnel a été particulièrement à l’écoute et très professionnel. Après notre première nuit, l’équipe a immédiatement pris en compte notre demande de changement de chambre, ce que nous avons énormément apprécié. Nous avons également eu la chance de bénéficier d’un upgrade en suite junior, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus confortable. De manière générale, la qualité du service est remarquable : attentionné, efficace et toujours avec le souci du détail. Loved our stay! We booked into a club room and took advantage of the free airport meet and greet and Silver bird car to the hotel. Our room was spacious and lovely. We took full advantage of the club lounge for evening drinks, and like dinner. Breakfast, we ate in the main dining room on the ground floor. An amazing array of totally delicious food.

Excellent service and views, though rooms are more standard than expected for a Mandarin Oriental. Jakarta was an unexpected stop on my journey home, and I booked the Mandarin Oriental at the last minute. The price was surprisingly reasonable for a Mandarin Oriental, though it’s clear why it’s not as expensive as some of the group’s other locations worldwide — it doesn’t have the same “flash” or ultra-luxury feel you might find in, say, Taiwan. What really stood out was the service, which went above and beyond. I had a problem with a taxi attempting to overcharge me and even pretend my payment hadn’t gone through, but the concierge quickly sorted it out and personally ensured I was protected. I requested a high floor and a good view — not only did I get both, but I was also upgraded. A welcome drink on arrival was a nice touch, and the staff were consistently attentive. The restaurants were great — I tried the cake shop and the level-two restaurant, both of which were excellent and reasonably priced. The location is also very convenient, with a shopping center just across the road, which was perfect for my six-hour stay. As for the room, while the view was spectacular, the room itself was quite standard — clean and functional, but not the standout luxury you might expect from a Mandarin Oriental.
