Our apartment offers you the perfect balance between relaxation, unwinding, and the joy of discovery: The world-famous Sachsenring is just 20 minutes away, while the cultural heart of Chemnitz—a UNESCO City of Culture—can be reached in just 15 minutes.

No TV here to distract you from important moments—instead, a piano and a large library invite you to pause and reflect. This is no coincidence, but a deliberately designed space for relaxation, conversation, and personal moments far removed from everyday life.

A Very Special Living Room (30 m²): The spacious living room is the heart of the apartment and is designed to encourage you to slow down: Instead of a TV, you’ll find a bookcase full of books that invites you to browse, as well as a piano for those who’d like to fill the room with music. When temperatures drop, the wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth. Step out onto the balcony, and a special natural idyll awaits you. The branches of the majestic 100-year-old cherry tree provide pleasant shade in the summer and invite you to linger. If you’d like, you can pick and enjoy the bright red fruits right at your fingertips.

A kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired (20 m²): To meet your culinary needs, we’ve created a fully equipped kitchen that will delight even the most discerning gourmets: From the refrigerator, oven, and high-quality coffee maker to the toaster and electric kettle, everything is provided. Our specialty appliances are particularly handy, such as a grain flaker for fresh muesli, a professional bread slicer, or the Genius Nicer Dicer Chef. Ample counter space for all your culinary needs and a table that seats up to 8 people—who can then enjoy the culinary results—are standard features here. A diffuser ensures a pleasant indoor climate, and with the complete set of high-quality tableware, nothing stands in the way of your perfect stay. Just in case, the Vorwerk vacuum cleaner with all its accessories is within easy reach.

Sleeping Comfort and Bathroom: Enjoy first-class sleeping comfort in our huge 2 x 2 m bed. A walk-in closet (6 m²), a full-length mirror, and a large northeast-facing window overlooking a beautiful ginkgo tree create a sense of tranquility and privacy in the bedroom (15 m²). The cozy bathroom features a separate tub and shower with a transparent glass partition, soft gray tiles, and automatic ventilation, as well as a large window that provides fresh air and ample natural light. Fresh towels, a hair dryer, soap, and shower gel are provided for your use.

The entire apartment is lockable and accessible via a welcoming hallway (10 m²), from which you can easily reach every room.

Here you can enjoy regional specialties such as the famous all-you-can-eat ribs (every Thursday—reservations required), use the on-site bowling alley for social evenings, or relax with a homemade cocktail in the (winter) garden. There are many places to visit: Dresden and Leipzig for culture and day trips, Wartburg Castle, the Elbe Sandstone Mountains—Saxon Switzerland, Meissen with its wine culture, and Erfurt. Karl May’s former home in Hohenstein-Ernstthal. The Prinzenhöhle and the radon spa in Bad Schlema. Round out your itinerary with historic sites like Freiberg or Annaberg-Buchholz, the picturesque reservoirs, or the charming towns of Zwickau, Schneeberg, or Weinböhla.
