Delightful island getaway! This newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhouse is located near the Ritz Carlton in the gated community of Summer Beach Village. Steps away from the pool and the pristine sand of Amelia Island's beautiful beach, and just minutes from historic downtown Fernandina. Combined living room/dining room, updated kitchen, washer dryer, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Second floor primary bedroom with king bed, private bath with walk-in shower, guest bedroom with twin beds and private bath. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room should the need arise. The shaded balcony sits among the stately Live Oak trees that are found throughout the resort and is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The owners of this condo are members of the private Golf Club and Beach Club of Amelia Island. Not all property owners are members of this exclusive resort and club. Guests of this unit can enjoy access to these resort amenities which include - the private and gated Beach Club of Amelia Island, the oceanfront pool, Beach Club bar and grill (open seasonally), lighted tennis courts and access to the beautiful ocean front golf course at the Ritz Carlton (at significant discounts to standard greens fees). Amenity card fee $112 plus tax.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The Luxury host was very attentive. The location was close to the beach. The furniture was nice and comfy, however, the condo was in poor shape. Interior is in need of a new paint job, floor boards and door trim should be replaced. I found the carpeting was nasty, and the master bedroom was not supplied with a dresser for clothing. The guest bathroom cabinet and tub were in poor shape, the tub had been glazed, and was pealing. The front door was absolutely discussing. As, the porch and stairs were not maintained as well. The HOA should have had the door painted, as that is the first thing you see when entering the condo. I have rented from VRBO for years, and this was by far our worst experience:(
