It was a very convenient location. We were getting in late and leaving early in the morning. I just needed a simple hotel for a clean safe place to sleep before heading out in the morning. Unfortunately, this hotel did not seem to be well maintained. The hallway carpets are very dirty. When we got to our room, there was a bug on the bed and we found two other bugs in the room. I went downstairs to get a different room. The attendant assisted me very quickly. When I got to my new room, there was another bug crawling on the wall by the air conditioner. I killed it and didn’t see any other ones, so I went to bed. In the morning, I told the manager and he was aware of the problem from a note that was left from the night before. He was apologetic and said he would be getting pest control to treat the room. I don’t think I’ll stay here again.

We checked in at 10pm and the room looked okay but at 2am my daughter discovered roaches crawling out of the A/C unit. There were also some crawling on the walls, the desk and one was on her bed. I called the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do at 2am, so we left and went to a much nicer hotel nearby. We were told that people often leave the Sleep Inn because of roaches. The next morning I called the front desk and spoke to the manager who offered a 50% refund because we stayed there part of the night. I demanded a full refund because we were forced to leave by the roaches. He said okay, but we will see. I will contact my credit to dispute any charges. I have never seen anything like that in a hotel where I was staying. It was very disturbing.
