We stayed one night before a cruise out of Jaxport. This hotel hit all the things we were looking for. Easy check in and out. Beach access for a sunset walk. Great pool with waterfall and spa. Good dinner on the deck by the ocean with live music. Free hot breakfast before heading to the ship. The room was huge, clean and comfortable.

Nice beach, the pool area is nice, great outside bar with food and drinks, although would have been nice for the inside bar to have open also. Online states “Hampton Inn Oceanfront” , choose your room. I thought I had purchased an oceanfront room and for $453 a night I should’ve had that but instead I got a first floor room looking at a mound of mulch beside the pool. I left immediately as the staff said there was nothing they could do to change my accommodations

We stayed in Room 221. The bathroom was disgusting. The woodwork was chipped, the edge of the bathtub you step over to get into the shower was all marked up with dark spots, the silver circular part inside the tub has rust spots all around, there were rust spots all around the bathtub, there are six holes on the bottom of the wall above the back of the tub, the inside of the bathroom door was marked up with a long wide dark mark and the people in the room above us were noisy during nighttime hours. We spent $200 due to it being a Labor Day holiday and thought it would be a great deal but it was not! This place I am sure is making a lot of money being it is on the beach. The owner of this place needs to take some of that money and make improvements to the facility. This is a black eye regarding Hampton Inn's reputation and it should be closed for offering rooms in such terrible conditions! We wasted a lot of money for nothing staying at this place, will never visit again and will advise everyone we know not to stay at this location!
