Convenient location in the old down town area that was within walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. Complimentary breakfast was good and varied slightly every morning. Be aware that the "water view" suite that we paid extra for is also on the railroad tracks side of the building. Wake up train horns at 5:00 am, 5:30 am and 7:00 am. The water view is a marina with no public access or beach.

First, the front desk person came across like we were asking for something ridiculous when we inquired about possible early check in…..She was far from what is expected of Hilton standards and was more like someone running a low budget Mom and Pop roadside motel. The lady that actually checked us in was very courteous and the room was nice but we paid extra for a fireplace as the weather had turned very cold. No one told us the fireplace weren’t working until I called down to front desk….there was no effort to compensate us or make amends in any way…….it was like, oh sorry, they just don’t work…. This was an important part of our honeymoon and I am very disappointed in Hilton Hotels over this…..Perhaps next time, I’ll book elsewhere……
