We have always stayed in room 1, at the top of the original building, but this time we switched it up to a suite, in the second building. The suite was gorgeous and so big! Loved having our own private balcony and fireplace. Beautifully appointed. Missing were batteries for the candles except one, (a little bit unfortunate, not a deal breaker with the amazing lighting options) And sadly,the pillows were awful, (for a suite there should be down pillows on at least 2 of 4.) Check in was a breeze! though it was a little disconcerting to have housekeeping waiting at exactly 11:00 for us to exit right outside of our door- this could have been just a few minutes more discreet. Other than that, it’s always lovely at 161! Highly recommend.❤️
