The Casino is very smoking and unbearable. You can’t eat in the restaurant due to the smoke smell. The halls are filled with it! Even in the bathroom of our non smoking room you could smell it.

Room was clean … after 2trips to front desk to get key card re-coded to get us in the room - Casino had been updated with many new slot machines-

I booked this with hotels.com. When I arrived later in the evening the front desk lady could not find my reservation even though I provided the itinerary with my email. The manger said she could see it but there was some sort of an issue between the Bartons and Hotels.com. She supposedly canceled it but said I'd have to dispute it with hotels.com if that didn't work. They then made me pay for another room on the spot. Now I can't get any help from the Barton's nor Hotels.com and am having to dispute it with my credit card company. Overall a decent place to stay but this is a huge hassle. Wouldn't recommend hotels.com and I'm not pleased with Barton's leaving me to deal with this mess.

The Staff was friendly and the room was clean however, we booked a nonsmoking room and as soon as you walk into the hotel it reeks of smoke from the Casino. We stayed in a room on the bottom floor and had to place towels under the bottom of the door to try and block the smell but it was overwhelming

In the middle of the night we awoke to find our room smelled like the cigarette smoke air from the casino was being directly piped into our room. I am not sure if there was a malfunction in the building's HVAC system that would cause this, but it was bad. All we could smell was cigarettes and the purfume scented stuff they blend into the air in the casino to help mask the smoke. As we checked out in the early morning, I explained the problem and requested a refund. As of the time of this writing, about 10 hours later - the manager has still not bothered with my request for a phone call. Aside from the toxic air, the carpet inside our room looked to be the original carpet from when the place was built, which had to have been circa 1985. The carpet was disgusting. One of the elevators rides extremely rough and feels like it could come crashing down any day. Will never stay in this place again. The room rating was clearly off on Expedia.

Very clean room. I wish check in lady would have informed me of discounts before the total was tallied. I was woken up several times during the night by the upstairs people stomping around. Friendly staff tho.
