The location and property were lovely however we did not like the 10am check out. Super difficult with 2 teenagers. On vacation we felt like 11am would have helped ease some of the stress especially since it is required to strip all the beds and place towels in the foyer. We do not mind picking up after ourselves but honestly the check out “list” almost made it feel like a full cleaning process before departure. With the expensive cleaning fee we felt it was excessive. We also did not realize that the fireplace would not be available for use. It was padlocked which was strange. It was quite chilly the week we were there and it would have been nice and cozy to have had access to that. Perhaps we missed that it was not to be used. Again the property itself was nice but feel like overall VRBO has became super difficult to deal with. So many fees and very little in return. You are expected to be completely out at the 10am checkout time but not allowed to check in 10 minutes early. Understand rules but wow… try to make it more of a peaceful experience.
