This home was perfect for our family get together! It is close to the beach and they provided plenty of beach chairs and towels. The interior is larger than it appeared in the photos and very nicely decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed.

The house is beautiful and the location is wonderful. The beds were cozy and plentiful and the living space accommodated our large group very well. The house has plenty of chairs for the beach and towels. I would say bring garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and dishwasher detergent pods but other than that we enjoyed our stay very much!

Fabulous Home on the beach!

This gorgeous home is the perfect place to stay when visiting Isle of Palms. The home is huge, charming, and clean! It fit 14 adults perfectly. It overlooks the ocean, is a 5 min walk to the beach, and about a 30 min drive to downtown Charleston. The pictures featured don’t do this home justice - it’s a beautiful vacation rental that you won’t want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay at Hunley house immensely. We had several families with young children and older relatives. Lots of space to gather and get a moment of peace. Located on a quiet cul de sac it is an easy walk down the boardwalk to a beautiful beach. Everything you need for a beach vacation is at your finger tips. Would definitely go again.

Fun family vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hunley House! This property was everything we were hoping for during our stay in Isle of Palms. The house was very clean, well stocked with linens, games, beach accessories and toys and had ample space for our family of 8, which included an infant and a toddler. The kitchen was well equipped and we also enjoyed using the bbq grill out on the deck. Another plus was the close proximity to the beach! We will definitely be staying there again and would highly recommend it to a friend.

Perfect Beach Vacation

The Hunley House exceeded our expectations, the house is spacious, comfortable, extraordinarily well equipped, we found everything we needed: linens, kitchen supplies, beach essentials and not essentials. The close location to the beach made it easy especially considering we had three little children ages 3, 2 and 1. Communication throughout the rental process was easy and Pam responded quickly to every question we had. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation and will definitely come back and enjoy Isle of Palms and the Hunley House.

College friends gather

This group of nine friends has been renting VRBOs for years all over the country for an annual reunion. This home was declared the best yet! Amazing getaway

This is a beautiful house. So big & spacious. Perfect for our family of 8 adults and 6 children. The house had tons of space and we really appreciated the proximity to the beach and all the beach equipment. The kitchen was well equipped and appliances top notch. An elevator would have been nice, but guess we needed the exercise. Pam, from the rental agency, was available for any questions or issues we might have. We will definitely return.

Great house for a big family gathering

The house was well equipped and comfortable. We especially loved the big porches with ample seating for relaxing and dining. We enjoyed playing games in the evenings on the porch or at the big dining table. (The Clue game was missing too many parts to be played and the Dominoes seemed to be two sets mixed together. Maybe the games should be inventoried.)

Perfect Vacation Spot

I rented this house for a long weekend in honor of my brother's up-coming nuptuals. There were about 10 guys who came on the trip and everybody had a place to sleep. The house is beautiful and the pictures online really do not do it justice. The spacious living area easily accomodates large groups comfortably and the dining table is definitely large enough for 12 people to sit without feeling crowded. Also, the house has any beach accessory needed, stored in a room in the basement. Finally, the owner was very, very cooperative with the planning and helping us book our trip. If you are looking for a quiet area of Isle of Palms on a block of beautiful homes, this is the spot.
