Knotty Pines is a cozy cabin tucked away in the pines of the Targhee National Forest. Sitting on the foothills of the Centennial Mountains in Island Park, you will find plenty of comfort, peace and privacy here!

This cabin comes with all the comforts and amenities of home including smart TVs, WiFi, washer and dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen.

A great romantic get away, or a fun place for the whole family! This is a great place to base your entire adventure from. Yellowstone Park is only 33 miles away!

The cabin has 2 sleep rooms, plus a 3rd bonus sleep area with a double bed and a twin loft bed! There is a queen air mattress available in the living room on the main level as well! It has a bathroom on each level and can sleep up to 7 people comfortably, plus 2 more if you use the queen air mattress for a total of 9 people. (The bonus sleeproom is a open area between the 1st and 2nd bedroom).

The cabin has many artistic touches all around including a large mural of a moose wood burned into the kitchen breakfast bar.

The main level has an open concept living/Kitchen area, full bathroom with claw tub and laundry area. Off the back is a large patio/sitting area.

Upstairs has a large master bedroom with a king size bed and a private balcony, a second bedroom and an open loft/sleeping space along with a half bathroom.

There is a very nice outside firepit with seating for summertime use and a gas grill that can be used most of year depending on snow in the winter.

This rustic cabin is well decorated with a special ambiance that can only be found in a forest cabin. It is located near the groomed trail network and the access points to Mount Jefferson so you can snowmobile or ATV to any business in Island Park and from West Yellowstone to Ashton. Please be advised the road to the property is a narrow dirt road for the last mile, so very large snowmobile, ATV or other trailers are not advised. You will have to park them at the nearby Stamp Meadows recreational parking lot, about 1.5 miles from the cabin.

Island Park has many streams, rivers and lakes and you'll find fishing and boating access nearby as well. There are excellent Mountain biking and horseback trails down the road at Harriman State Park. Jackson Hole, Driggs, Victor, Ennis, and Virginia City are all easy drives as well.

Guests will have access the entire cabin, surrounding property and the parking area all to themselves!

This cabin has been a well established and maintained short term property for many years, previously listed and hosted by a local professional property management company. We are the new owners of the cabin and have taken over management of the cabin in September 2025. All the great amenities and services previously provided will continue to be offered moving forward!
